No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Bars

Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 2 cups rolled oats old-fashioned
  • 1 cup peanut butter smooth or crunchy
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet or dark

Method
 

Prepare the Pan
  1. Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
Mix Ingredients
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, peanut butter, honey, and cocoa powder. Stir until well combined.
Add Chocolate Chips
  1. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
Press into Pan
  1. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan and press it down firmly into an even layer.
Chill and Set
  1. Refrigerate the bars for at least 1 hour to allow them to set.
Cut and Serve
  1. Once set, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into squares and serve.
