Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 large ripe banana mashed
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 large egg
Filling
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the mashed banana, milk, melted butter, and egg.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 2 minutes until smooth.
Make the Filling
  1. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter until well combined.
Assemble the Rolls
  1. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  2. Spread the filling evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
  3. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 8 equal pieces.
  4. Place the rolls in a greased baking sheet, cut side up.
Bake the Rolls
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Prepare the Glaze
  1. In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.
