Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour plus more for dusting
  • 1 cup whole milk warm
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Filling
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
Frosting
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, eggs, and salt to the yeast mixture. Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Prepare the Filling
  1. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon together.
  2. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter over it, and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly on top.
Roll and Cut
  1. Starting from one edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Cut into 12 equal pieces.
  2. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake the Rolls
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Prepare the Frosting
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Serve
  1. Once the rolls are baked, let them cool slightly before spreading the cream cheese frosting on top.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy!
