Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 2 cups fresh peas or frozen, thawed
  • 1 medium pear diced
Meat
  • 4 oz pancetta diced
Herbs and Spices
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
  • salt to taste salt
  • black pepper to taste black pepper

Method
 

Cook Pancetta
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced pancetta and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
Add Peas and Pear
  1. Add the fresh peas and diced pear to the skillet. Stir well to combine with the pancetta.
Season and Cook
  1. Season with salt, black pepper, and fresh thyme. Cook for an additional 8-10 minutes until peas are tender and heated through.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat and serve warm as a side dish for your Thanksgiving meal.
