Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon skin-on or skinless
Marinade
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional for extra sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil optional for flavor
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, honey, and sesame oil until well combined.
Marinate the Salmon
  1. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Bake the Salmon
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the marinated salmon fillets on the baking sheet, skin-side down.
  2. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve
  1. Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
