Prepare Meatballs
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, beaten egg, salt, black pepper, allspice, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Brown the meatballs on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Make Creamy Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly browned.
- Gradually whisk in beef broth, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Add heavy cream, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes.
Combine and Serve
- Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
