Marinade Ingredients
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Method
 

Marinade Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, dried oregano, smoked paprika, olive oil, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Add the chicken breasts and steak to the bowl; coat them thoroughly in the marinade.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap or transfer to a resealable bag. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight is recommended).
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side and the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  3. Allow the cooked meat to rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
