Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour plus more for dusting
  • 1 cup warm water around 110°F
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar to activate yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil plus more for drizzling
Toppings
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt for sprinkling
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for drizzling on top

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
First Rise
  1. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
Shape and Second Rise
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil. Transfer the dough to the sheet and stretch it to fit.
  3. Cover and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
Add Toppings and Bake
  1. Dimple the surface of the dough with your fingers, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with sea salt and rosemary.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool and Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
