  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pc lime juice only
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh cilantro optional for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and coat well with salsa verde.
  4. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top for added zing.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for five minutes before serving; garnish with cilantro if desired.
