Ingredients
  

Beef and Udon
  • 1 lb beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 14 oz udon noodles fresh or frozen
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil for cooking
  • 1 tbsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger grated
  • 2 scallions scallions sliced for garnish

Method
 

Cook Udon Noodles
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add udon noodles and cook according to package instructions until tender, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Prepare Beef Stir-Fry
  1. In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Combine and Serve
  1. Add the cooked udon noodles to the skillet, tossing to combine with the beef and sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
  2. Serve hot, garnished with sliced scallions.
