Ingredients
  

  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water about 110°F
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 to 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups fresh or canned peaches sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup icing sugar

Method
 

  1. Activate your yeast by combining warm water and yeast in a bowl until frothy (5–10 minutes)
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter; stir into a sticky dough.
  3. Knead dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area until doubled (about 1 hour).
  5. Prepare peach filling by tossing sliced peaches with cinnamon and sugar.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (¼ inch thick), spread peach filling evenly, then roll tightly and slice into sections.
  7. Arrange in a greased baking dish, cover again while preheating oven to 350°F. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle warm rolls with icing made from whisking icing sugar with milk.
