Prepare the Meatloaf
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, beaten egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and milk.
- Mix the ingredients together until well combined, but do not overmix.
- Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
Add the Topping
- In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard.
- Spread the topping mixture evenly over the meatloaf.
Bake the Meatloaf
- Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
