  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup lilac syrup
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (4-5 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients alternately with milk, starting and ending with flour.
  6. Fold in lilac syrup and lemon zest.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
