Baking Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (4-5 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add dry ingredients alternately with milk, starting and ending with flour.
- Fold in lilac syrup and lemon zest.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
