Ingredients
  

Shrimp and Broccoli
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
Honey Garlic Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Stir in honey and soy sauce, bring to a simmer, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Cook the Broccoli
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add broccoli florets and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
Cook the Shrimp
  1. Add the shrimp to the skillet with broccoli, cooking for 3-4 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and broccoli, tossing to coat evenly. Cook for an additional minute to heat through.
  2. Serve immediately over rice or noodles if desired.
