Method
Prepare the Pasta
- Cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Make the Sauce
- In a blender, combine cottage cheese, chicken or vegetable broth, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the cottage cheese mixture into the saucepan with sautéed garlic. Stir well and heat through for about 5 minutes.
Combine and Serve
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional herbs if desired.
