Ingredients
  

Cocktail Base
  • 4 oz vodka use a good quality vodka
  • 2 oz coffee liqueur such as Kahlúa
  • 4 oz heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 2 tbsp gingerbread syrup store-bought or homemade
Garnish
  • 1 tbsp ground ginger for rimming glasses
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon for rimming glasses
  • 4 pieces gingerbread cookies for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Glasses
  1. In a small plate, mix the ground ginger and ground cinnamon. Moisten the rims of the serving glasses with a little cream, then dip them into the spice mixture to coat.
  2. Set the prepared glasses aside.
Mix the Cocktail
  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, coffee liqueur, gingerbread syrup, and heavy cream.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
Serve
  1. Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses filled with ice.
  2. Garnish each drink with a gingerbread cookie on the rim.

Notes
