Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Prepare the ingredients by washing and halving the baby potatoes, and mincing the garlic.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak pieces until browned on all sides (about 3-4 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add halved baby potatoes with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown (around 10 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  4. Reduce heat to low, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet with potatoes. Stir until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
  5. Return the steak to the skillet, tossing everything together until coated in garlic butter sauce.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
