Ingredients
  

Elderberry Mixture
  • 1 cup elderberry juice fresh or store-bought
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup for vegan option
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin powder or agar-agar for vegan option
Optional Flavor Enhancers
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for added flavor
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder for a spicy kick

Method
 

Prepare the Mixture
  1. In a small saucepan, combine elderberry juice, honey, and lemon juice. Heat over low heat until warm, stirring to dissolve the honey.
  2. Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the mixture and whisk continuously until fully dissolved and smooth.
Mold the Gummies
  1. Remove the saucepan from heat and add any optional flavor enhancers. Mix well.
  2. Carefully pour the mixture into gummy bear molds, filling each cavity.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
Serve and Store
  1. Once set, carefully remove the gummy bears from the molds.
  2. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
