Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 1 lb ground pork can substitute with ground turkey or chicken
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
Vegetables
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage green or purple cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 3 green onions sliced for garnish
Seasonings
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger freshly grated
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
Optional Toppings
  • 1 tbsp sriracha for heat
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro for garnish

Method
 

Cook the Protein
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground pork. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil, mixing well.
Add Vegetables
  1. Add the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  2. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Finish and Serve
  1. Remove from heat and stir in the rice vinegar.
  2. Serve in bowls and top with sliced green onions, sriracha, and cilantro if desired.
