Ingredients
  

Meatloaf Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend recommended
  • 1 cup bread crumbs plain or seasoned
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp ketchup plus more for topping
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Method
 

Prepare the Meatloaf
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, beaten egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  3. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Spread additional ketchup on top of the meatloaf if desired.
Bake the Meatloaf
  1. Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven.
  2. Bake for 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  3. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
