- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two round cake pans.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then add lemon zest and juice.
- Gradually fold in dry ingredients alternately with milk until just combined.
- Gently fold in blueberries.
- Pour batter into pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before frosting.
