Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 1 pound carrots peeled and sliced into sticks
Maple Glaze
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

Prepare the Vegetables
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts and carrots.
Make the Glaze
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Combine and Roast
  1. Pour the maple glaze over the vegetables and toss to coat evenly.
  2. Spread the vegetables in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Roast in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until crispy and caramelized.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
