Ingredients
  

Beef Marinade
  • 500 g beef flank steak thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp rice wine
  • 1 tsp black pepper
Sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili paste
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
Vegetables
  • 1 cup bell peppers sliced
  • 1 cup onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger grated
For Frying
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

Marinate the Beef
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, rice wine, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, chili paste, sugar, vinegar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
Fry the Beef
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef in batches, frying until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Stir-fry Vegetables
  1. In the same wok, add a little more oil if needed, then stir-fry garlic, ginger, bell peppers, and onion until just tender.
Combine and Serve
  1. Add the crispy beef back to the wok along with the sauce. Stir well to coat everything evenly. Serve hot.
