Ingredients
  

Cauliflower Fritters
  • 1 head cauliflower cut into florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup grated cheese such as cheddar or parmesan
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley optional
  • 1 cup oil for frying

Method
 

Prepare the Cauliflower
  1. Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and let cool.
  2. Once cooled, chop the cauliflower into small pieces.
Mix Ingredients
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped cauliflower, flour, grated cheese, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
Fry the Fritters
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and form into patties. Carefully place them in the hot oil.
  3. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove from the pan and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serve
  1. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
