Method
Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add ditalini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and set aside.
Prepare the Sausage
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
Make the Creamy Sauce
- Add minced garlic to the skillet with the sausage and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Combine and Serve
- Add the cooked ditalini pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
