Ingredients
  

  • 3 breasts boneless, skinless chicken about 1.5 lbs
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 cup fresh green beans trimmed
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and dice the onion; wash the green beans.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the onion in bacon grease until golden; add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken and green beans; season with salt and pepper. Cook until chicken is browned (6-8 minutes).
  5. Pour in heavy cream; stir well to combine. Add Parmesan cheese and let simmer until melted.
  6. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and mix into the skillet until evenly coated.
