Method
Prepare Chicken
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the chicken drumsticks and sear them until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
Make the Sauce
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper, stirring for about 1 minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and mix well, allowing it to thicken slightly for about 3-4 minutes.
Bake
- Return the chicken drumsticks to the skillet, coating them in the sauce. Transfer everything to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Serve
- Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot with your choice of sides.

Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the seasoning for a few hours before cooking.
