Oil Base
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil high quality for best flavor
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar for added flavor
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Dipping Oil
  1. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Whisk together until well combined.
  3. If using, stir in balsamic vinegar and garnish with fresh parsley.
  4. Serve immediately with warm bread.
