Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 2 cups shredded coconut unsweetened
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Topping Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional
  • 1/4 cup toasted coconut for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Mixture
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, all-purpose flour, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
Bake the Bars
  1. Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan and spread evenly.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
Add Toppings
  1. If using, sprinkle chocolate chips on top immediately after removing from the oven. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. Garnish with toasted coconut before cutting into bars.
