Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets washed and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded carrots optional
  • 1/2 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds unsalted
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits cooked and crumbled
Dressing
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Salad
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli florets, shredded carrots, red onion, sunflower seeds, and bacon bits.
  2. Toss the ingredients together until well mixed.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.
  2. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
