  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz spaghetti, cooked cook according to package directions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese for topping
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions for topping
  • 1/2 cup sour cream for serving

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until translucent.
  2. Stir in the tomato sauce and add water or beef broth to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Mix in cocoa powder, cinnamon, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer uncovered for about 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain when al dente.
  5. Serve chili over spaghetti and top with cheese, green onions, and sour cream.
