Ingredients
  

Chocolate Mixture
  • 200 grams dark chocolate chopped
  • 100 ml heavy cream for melting
  • 50 grams sugar adjust to taste
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
  • 100 ml whipped cream for serving
  • 50 grams chocolate shavings for garnish

Method
 

Prepare Chocolate Mixture
  1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate, stirring until smooth.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Slowly pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, whisking continuously to prevent the eggs from cooking.
Bake the Mixture
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Pour the chocolate mixture into serving dishes and place them in a baking dish filled with hot water (water bath).
  3. Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before refrigerating for at least 2 hours.
  2. Serve chilled topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
