Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 cup celery, diced Fresh celery adds crunch.
  • 1 cup red apples, diced Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well.
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped Can substitute with pecans.
  • 1/2 cup grapes, halved Red or green grapes are both suitable.
Dressing
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Use light mayonnaise for a healthier option.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed is best.
  • 1 teaspoon honey Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt To taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Freshly ground preferred.

Method
 

Prepare the Salad
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced celery, diced apples, chopped walnuts, and halved grapes.
  2. Toss the ingredients together until well mixed.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.
  2. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to an hour before serving.
