Ingredients
  

Kofta
  • 1 lb ground chicken preferably thigh meat
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for brushing
Garlic Yogurt Sauce
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Kofta
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into oval meatballs (kofta) and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush the kofta with olive oil.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
Make the Garlic Yogurt Sauce
  1. In a bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and chopped dill until smooth.
Serve
  1. Serve the kofta hot with garlic yogurt sauce on the side.
