Buffalo Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz Penne Pasta or any pasta of choice
Chicken
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken shredded or diced
Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream for creaminess
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth low sodium preferred
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese for topping
Vegetables
  • 1 cup Celery diced
  • 1 cup Green Onions sliced
Spices
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, combine the buffalo sauce, heavy cream, and chicken broth. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Add the cooked chicken, celery, and green onions to the skillet. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until heated through.
Mix Pasta and Sauce
  1. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Serve
  1. Serve hot, topped with shredded cheddar cheese and additional buffalo sauce if desired.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less buffalo sauce. You can also add blue cheese crumbles for extra flavor.
