Ingredients
  

Pizza Dough
  • 1 lb pizza dough store-bought or homemade
Toppings
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup fresh figs sliced
  • 4 oz gorgonzola cheese crumbled
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary chopped, optional
Sauce
  • 1 cup pizza sauce store-bought or homemade

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness.
Assemble the Pizza
  1. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet.
  2. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  3. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  4. Distribute the crumbled bacon and sliced figs evenly on top.
  5. Add crumbled gorgonzola cheese and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped rosemary if using.
Bake the Pizza
  1. Carefully slide the pizza onto the hot pizza stone or place the baking sheet in the oven.
  2. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  3. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
