Ingredients
  

Wonton Tacos
  • 12 pieces wonton wrappers store-bought
  • 1 lb chicken breast diced
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Mexican blend
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup green onions sliced
  • 1/2 cup sweet and sour sauce for drizzling
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook until chicken is browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
Prepare Wonton Wrappers
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly brush wonton wrappers with olive oil and press them into the cups of a muffin tin to form taco shapes.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Assemble Tacos
  1. Once the wonton shells are baked, fill each shell with the cooked chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and green onions.
  2. Drizzle with sweet and sour sauce before serving.

Notes
