Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup spinach chopped
Vegetables
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup cucumber diced
  • 1 cup bell pepper diced
  • 1 cup red onion finely chopped
Cheese and Protein
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup cooked bacon crumbled
Dressing
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Layering the Salad
  1. In a large glass bowl, layer the chopped romaine lettuce and spinach at the bottom.
  2. Add a layer of cherry tomatoes evenly on top of the lettuce.
  3. Next, add a layer of diced cucumber.
  4. Follow with a layer of diced bell pepper.
  5. Add a layer of finely chopped red onion.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the onions.
  7. Finally, add a layer of crumbled bacon on top.
Preparing the Dressing
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
Final Assembly
  1. Spread the dressing evenly over the top layer of the salad.
  2. Cover the salad with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  3. Serve chilled and enjoy!
