Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot (julienned)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak by mixing soy sauce and cornstarch in a bowl. Coat the beef slices evenly and set aside.
  2. Wash and slice all vegetables: bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, garlic, ginger, and green onions.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add one tablespoon of vegetable oil. Once hot, cook the marinated steak slices for 2-3 minutes until browned but not fully cooked.
  4. Add shrimp and remaining vegetables to the skillet. If needed, add another tablespoon of oil. Stir-fry everything for about 5-7 minutes until the shrimp are pink and vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
