  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 44 Whoppers (for decoration)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 small tube white cake decorating gel
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, creamy peanut butter, and vanilla to the butter mixture; mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Roll dough into one-inch balls and coat in granulated sugar before placing on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for about 8 minutes until slightly underbaked.
  8. Press a Whopper into each cookie immediately after removing from the oven and decorate with melted chocolate chips for spider legs and eyes.
