  • 1 box (24 oz) macaroni shells & cheese with prepared cheese sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 white onion, diced
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the macaroni and cheese according to package instructions.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onions and minced garlic until cooked through; drain excess fat.
  3. Lightly spray a 9×13" baking dish. Layer half of the mac and cheese, followed by half of the meat mixture, half of the spaghetti sauce, and half of the cheeses. Repeat layers.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 20 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
