Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8" pan with cooking spray or parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and lemon zest until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by the fresh lemon juice.
  3. Fold in the flour and baking powder until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, fresh lemon juice, and zest until smooth; pour over cooled brownies.
