  • 1/2 medium onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 can (14 ounces) diced tomatoes (with juices)
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 pound uncooked potato gnocchi
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with chopped onion for about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, chicken broth, heavy cream, and gnocchi to the pan. Stir well, cover, and reduce heat to medium. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  4. Uncover and stir gently; allow to cook for a few more minutes until gnocchi are tender and the sauce thickens.
  5. Mix in grated parmesan cheese along with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
