  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/3 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and ginger.
  3. In a separate large bowl, mix the applesauce, milk, vegetable oil, molasses, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into an 8×11-inch baking dish.
  6. In another bowl, mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon for the topping; sprinkle over the batter.
  7. Pour apple cider and water over the top without stirring.
  8. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the center is set.
