  • 2 Tbsp melted butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 beaten egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF and line a 9×13-inch pan with foil.
  2. Unroll crescent roll dough and press into the bottom of the pan, sealing perforations.
  3. Bake crust for about 8 minutes until slightly set.
  4. In a bowl, mix corn syrup, sugar, vanilla, and beaten egg until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans.
  5. Pour filling over the crust and bake for another 18-22 minutes until set and golden brown.
  6. Cool in the pan for an hour before slicing into bars.
