Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 23 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt butter; add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce mixture, tossing gently to coat. If too thick, add reserved pasta water as needed.
  7. Slice seared chicken and return it to the skillet; let it simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
