  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted) for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8.5 x 4.5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed; do not overmix.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to parchment paper.
  7. Brush warm bread with melted butter and sprinkle with the sugar-cinnamon topping.
