  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 16 oz Cool Whip (1 large tub)
  • 2 boxes chocolate instant pudding (3.9 oz each)
  • 3 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, flour, and chopped pecans until crumbly. Press into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the Cool Whip gently.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust. Prepare the chocolate pudding as directed on the package with milk and pour it over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Chill for at least one hour before serving.
