  • 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)

  1. Slice lemons thinly (1/4-1/8 inch thick) and remove seeds.
  2. In a saucepan, combine water and 2 cups sugar; heat until dissolved.
  3. Add lemon slices to the syrup and simmer on low for about an hour, flipping every 15 minutes.
  4. Remove slices and let them dry on parchment paper for approximately 24 hours.
  5. Once dried, coat slices with remaining sugar.
  6. For chocolate-dipped slices, melt chocolate and dip cooled lemon slices before letting them set on parchment.
