  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)
  • 2 tbsp butter (plus more if needed)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp flour (for roux)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder, then dredge lightly in flour.
  2. Sear chicken thighs in melted butter over medium heat until golden brown on both sides; set aside.
